    St Andrew’s School wins award for ‘Best Education Environment’

    We are delighted to report that pupils and staff at St. Andrew’s School in Rochester (UK), which is owned and managed by Education Development Trust, are celebrating this week after it was revealed that their school was awarded the “Best Education Environment – Kent" in the Lux Life Independent School Awards 2023.

    The judges of the Lux Life Independent School Awards 2023 acknowledged the exceptional standards of teaching, the family-friendly nature of the school and the wide supportive community of parents, teachers and pupils, which together create ‘an educational environment that has quality learning at the centre of its being.’ 

    Emma Steinmann-Gilbert, head teacher at St Andrews, commented: “We are delighted to have won the Best Educational Environment 2023 (Kent) Award at the Lux Life Education Awards this year. The judges spoke very highly of our supportive, friendly atmosphere and our win is the perfect way to end an amazing year at St. Andrew’s.” 

    This news comes after the school received an ‘Excellent’ rating in their recent Independent School Inspectorate (ISI) Inspection and placed 35th in the Sunday Times 2022 Parent Power Top 100 list of Independent Prep Schools.
