How we work Our values of excellence, integrity, accountability and collaboration underpin our work. As a registered charity, we reinvest a percentage of our surplus into a publicly available programme of educational research. Our research helps policymakers to make informed decisions and it helps practitioners choose the most effective teaching methods. Our people As well as our teachers and school leaders, all of our people are passionate about education – from accountants to analysts and from consultants to careers advisers. Meet just some of the people that transform lives around the world. Work with us Our people transform lives around the world and we are constantly on the lookout for exceptional individuals across a broad spectrum of disciplines to help deliver excellent educational outcomes. Our governance Education Development Trust is a UK-registered charity and is governed by a board of trustees who direct the organisation's work. The trustees oversee the leadership team led by Chief Executive Patrick Brazier who, in turn, manage Education Development Trust staff across the globe. Our history From ambitious beginnings as the Centre for British Teachers in 1968 to today’s Education Development Trust, a major force in education improvement on a global scale – under the leadership of Patrick Brazier, we remain focussed on our mission to transform lives by improving education around the world. Our offices From our offices in the UK, Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, Brunei and India, we achieve local success with worldwide expertise.
