Education Development Trust invites suitably qualified and experienced Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for funding as a first step in a competitive process under its TARGET project grant window.

Through our work and expertise – which spans from early years education right through to post-school careers – we seek to strengthen education systems, transform teaching and learning, ensure effective transitions into work, and contribute to global responses to key education challenges.
EdDevTrust has been implementing the FCDO-funded TARGET (Technical Assistance to Reinforce General Education Quality Improvement Programme for Equity, GEQIP-E) project in Ethiopia since August 2019, providing targeted technical assistance to the Ministry of Education at Federal, Regional, Woreda and School levels. TARGET’s ESIF key areas of engagement fall under four strands including community engagement, improved teacher performance inclusion and school leader’s continuous professional development (SL CPD). TARGET’s technical support aims GEQIP-E to re-focus the system to improve learning outcomes through performance -based delivery, School leadership training reform, enhanced school leadership to improve school performance and research, monitoring and evaluation process.
As part of its effort, EdDevTrust invites suitably qualified and experienced CSOs/NGOs to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for funding as a first step in a competitive process under its TARGET project grant window. Up to eight projects will be awarded for a maximum project period of 1 year (12 months). There will be a three-stage application process along with due diligence and an Organisational Capacity Assessment:
- Submission of EOIs
- Closed tender to invite shortlisted applicants to submit a full proposal
- Conducting due diligence assessment and Organisational Capacity Assessment
