Impact Report Annual Impact Report 2021/22 Our fourth Annual Impact Report reveals phenomenal growth in the reach and impact of our programmes to improve education across the world. The report – focusing on the year to September 2022 – shows how we have engaged with more teachers, leaders and education systems internationally than ever before and improved outcomes and experiences for learners. We are continually building innovation and evidence into our programme delivery, research and consultancy to consolidate our position as a thought-leading organisation for education reform. Impact Report Annual Impact Review 2020/21 The impact of our work is critical to all we do at Education Development Trust. In this report, the third of our Annual Impact Reviews, we present the ways in which our work has made a positive difference to learners, teachers, leaders and education systems around the world, and how in another exceptional year, we have strived to further our mission to improve lives by transforming education worldwide. Impact Report Annual Impact Review 2019/20 At Education Development Trust, the impact of our work is critical to all we do. 2019/20 was an exceptional year in many ways, as we rapidly adapted and pivoted our programmes and research to meet the needs of learners, educators and leaders around the world during the Covid-19 crisis. In this report, the second of our Annual Impact Reviews, we present the ways in which our work has made a positive difference – both in rising to the education challenges of the pandemic and in more broadly furthering our mission to improve lives by transforming education worldwide. Impact Report Our outstanding people are our biggest asset Our work delivering the National Careers Service was judged as ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted in 2017. As a learning organisation, we commissioned our own review into what we do well and why our approach is effective and our report, Putting people first, shares our findings. Laura Bell is Director of Careers at Education Development Trust and was instrumental in commissioning the report. Impact Report Let all girls learn Our work in Kenya, part of the UK government Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) Girls' Education Challenge, has been identified as one of the most effective GEC Step Change projects in the world. In this publication, Tony McAleavy, Director of Research and Consultancy at Education Development Trust, looks at why we were so successful. Impact Report Raising student achievement in literacy and numeracy Our specialised solution resulted in a transformation of performance with more than half of the government school student cohort obtaining grades equivalent to native-speaker level (A*-C); an increase of more than 30 per cent in a 10-year period compared to a 5 per cent increase in the previous 10 years.
