Learning Renewed: our Covid-19 response

Quality assurance for new models of teaching and learning

Throughout the crisis, education systems have worked extremely hard to provide at least a basic offering of remote schooling, and to provide effective remedial programmes as schools reopen. However, measurements and guidance on the reach and quality of such provision are increasingly necessary. We are supporting policymakers and school leaders with best practice guidance and tools, and can help integrate this into education system plans.

Education Development Trust is currently supporting decision-makers and school leaders with best practice guidance and tools to manage quality in remote schooling, specifically in terms of teaching practice, learner engagement and infrastructure conditions.

We can help leaders to monitor and manage quality by offering guidance, standards and methods to track aspects of remote schooling such as learner engagement, lesson quality and feedback, and software review.
