Anna Searle joins Education Development Trust

Anna Searle, currently Director of English Language at British Council will be joining Education Development Trust in October. Anna will be heading up Education Development Trust's large-scale programmes globally as Education Services Group Director.

'Anna brings not only her highly relevant and extensive experience of managing large operations across geographically dispersed teams but also an in-depth knowledge of the education sector; coupled with her passionate belief in the power of education to change lives, she will be a huge asset to the leadership team and we look forward to welcoming her on board. Anna is joining the organisation at an exciting time and she will play a key role in shaping the future of Education Development Trust.'

Expertise in education systems

Anna has worked with the British Council for more than 25 years with a particular focus on English language teaching in education systems worldwide. In her new role, Anna will be overseeing Education Development Trust's own English language teaching – in Brunei, the Middle East and India – as well as our transformational education programmes in Kenya, Rwanda, India, the Middle East and the UK.
