Making a Difference recruitment

Be a part of Making a Difference

Welcome to our Making a Difference recruitment page. We are really pleased that you have taken the time to explore job opportunities with Education Development Trust.

What is Making a Difference?

Making a Difference is a brand-new programme, to be delivered by Education Development Trust in the Coast to Capital region* of England. The programme is a European Social Fund (ESF) match funded programme which is designed to support both unemployed and economically inactive participants, the aim being to progress them to job search readiness or into paid employment.

The programme will be delivered over three years with the first participant expected to join the programme from late October 2020. Each participant is expected to remain on the programme for up to four months and will be seen at regular intervals. The frequency of intervention will be decided by the Employment Coach and the participant. There are a range of activities that the Employment Coach will undertake with the participant based on what the individual needs. The first intervention for participants will be with an existing qualified NCS (National Careers service) Careers Adviser, these advisers will select participants that they think will benefit from the more intensive support offered by the Making a Difference programme. They will hand the participant over to a Making a Difference Employment Adviser who will continue to work with them.

The Employment Coach will either be qualified as a Level 4 IAG (not Careers IAG) OR will be unqualified but will work towards an IAG qualification once onboarded with a Learning Agreement in place.

There are no current vacancies but please do check back as they will be posted here when available.
